'Om Shanthi' joined the race of Sankranti releases starring Kajal Agarwal, Navdeep, Nikhil, Murali Mohan, Bindu Madhavi and Sunil in the lead roles.

 

'Om Shanthi' is presented by 'Three Angels' banner and directed by Prakash. Ilayaraja has scored music for this movie. Camera work by Jayanan Vincent and edited by Marthand Venkatesh

 

'Om Shanthi' is a pack of six stories at one shot which conveys a message to 'live in peace' and give up terrorism.

 

 

The movie starts off with the serious bomb blast in Bangalore by Islamic terrorist in the name of 'Jihad' After this blast the terrorists plan to attack Hyderabad and enter the city. Intelligence Department who knows well in advance about this attack hands over the case to Task Force Officer ‘Mohammed Khan’ played by ‘Ravi Kale’, meanwhile the terrorist successfully implant the Time bomb, within the premises of ‘Task Force Office’.

 

Another five tracks of stories run parallel introducing different characters in life.

 

‘Narsa Reddy’ a poor farmer character is played by ‘Murali Mohan’ lives along with his wife Praghathi and his greedy son in a village, who troubles his father to sell the land and invest in real estate business. Narsa Reddy refuses to sell the land but dies in pain and his greedy son sells off the entire land and invests in the real estate, in which he looses, all his money. His poor mother disappointed, leaves his son and decides to go back to the village reaches city bus stop waiting for the city bus.

 

‘Anand’ a Software Engineer played by ‘Navdeep’ is working in 'Satyam' who is likely to get married soon 'Anjali' is played by ‘Adithi Sharma’. The family calls off the marriage as 'Anand' losses his job due to recession. But 'Anjali' who is still in love with 'Anand' wants to get married to him. Somehow 'Anand' finds another job with the help of his friend (Sunil) and 'Anjali' who is very eager to meet 'Anand' reaches the city bus stop waiting for the city bus.

‘Meghana’ a college student played by ‘Kajal Aagarwal’ is an energetic young girl, is in love with a Radio Jockey ‘Maddy’ played by ‘Madhavan’ whom she has never seen. Meghana is in great hurry to meet his boyfriend and reaches the city bus stop waiting for the city bus

 

‘Noori’ played by ‘Bindu Madhavi’ is busy with her marriage arrangements and reaches the city bus stop to go for shopping and is waiting for the city bus. Noori is the sister of ‘Basha’ played by ‘Rohit Paatak’ who is the brain behind the whole task of 'Jihad'

 

‘Teja’ played by 'Nikhil' is an ambitious actor who wants to make a mark in the film industry, is fond of the hero 'Ravi Teja' and wishes to become a big star like Ravi Teja, he gets cheated ‘Raghu babu’ a mediator but luckily gets an offer to act in a movie and reaches the city bus stop waiting for the city bus.

 

All the five characters reach the same city bus stop, to reach their destination and it`s time for the blast of the deadly weapon, which has been implanted in the Task Force Office by the terrorist.

Shambo Siva Shambho is a remake of Director Samuthrikani`s blockbuster movie 'Naadodigal' starring energetic hero Ravi Teja, Allari Naresh, Priyamani, Abhinaya, Siva Balaji, Tanikella Bharani, Kota, Ahuthi Prasad, Sudha, Mukesh Rishi, Surya Tej, Roja in the lead roles.

 

Ravi Teja plays the role of Karunakar son of Ahuthi Prasad and Sudha is trying hard to fulfill his uncles wish of getting a Government job in order to get married to his daughter Priyamani who plays the character of Munemma, Shiva Balaji palys the role of Chandra, dreams of starting his own computer center, is the son of Michaeal Raju played by Chandra Mohan and Allari Naresh plays the role of 'Malli' son of a poor labour ‘Kota’ who is trying hard to go to abroad and is eagerly waiting for the passport. Karunakar, Malli and Chandra are thick friends enjoying the life together. Chandra is in deep love with ‘Pavitra’ played by ‘Abhinaya’ the sister of ‘Karunakar’.

 

The life goes on smoothly at their end, till they meet Karunakar`s old friend Santosh played by ‘Surya Tej’ who urges Karunakar to help him to elope his girl firend ‘Prabha’ who are in deep love and would die, if they are not married.

 

Santosh is the son of ex-MLA ‘Bhavani’ played by ‘Roja’ and Prabha is the daughter of a rich industrialist ‘Narasimha Reddy’ played by ‘Mukesh Rishi’ in Kurnool. Both the parents are against their children’s love. Karunakar & his friends believe the true love of Santosh and Prabha and plans to elope Prabha, for the sake of his friend, by putting their lives in trouble.

 

All the three friends go ahead and kidnaps Santosh`s girl friend Prabha from the temple putting their lives at a risk and in the process of accomplishing this task Karunakar looses his eligibility to appear for a Government Job as a Kidnap case gets filed on him and also loses his girl friend Muneamma, who is married now to another person, as her father refuses to get her daughter married to a criminal and Chandra loses his leg and Malli becomes deaf. But the friends feel extremely happy, that they have helped true lovers to get united in life.

 

These friends are not aware of the fact that Santosh and Prabha make no good pair and their attraction towards each other comes to an end, after spending few days together, who applies for divorce, because of difference of opinion between them.  They come to know through another friend that Santosh and Prabha have planned to marry again to another person and also refuses to meet these friends who has helped them to get married.

 

Unable to bare the sore fact, who put their lives at risk for their friend`s love, plan to kidnap them again and kill them. Their anger towards Santosh and Prabha grows to the heights.

There had been many movies with eloped love stories, but this movie is presented in a different way, which gives a clear view of love, friendship and the reasons of failure of love marriages.
