The Telugu movie 'Dookudu' starring Mahesh Babu, Samantha Prabhu, Adithya, Abhimanyu Singh and Vennela Kishore will be released on September 23, 2011 in India and across the world.

The movie is set for its grand release with the highest number of prints in the United States as it will be showing in 79 theaters, the highest ever for a Telugu movie.'Dookudu' is directed by Srinu Vaitla and produced by Anil Sunkara, Gopinath Achanta and Ramu Achanta. The music is composed by Thaman, and M. R. Varma is the film editor. Dubbing and editing were done at the Shabdalaya Studios.

The movie is a action romantic entertainer in which Mahesh Babu is playing the role of an informer and Samanta is playing the female lead and Sonia Agarwal is also playing an important role.

The music was launched on August 18, 2011 at the Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad and has received tremendous response from the public.
