The newly formed Praja Rajyam Party of Chiranjeevi is now slowly coming face to face reality and facing the ire of the fans. Many loyal fans who have been with Chiranjeevi and his charitable organizations like the blood bank are now crying foul.

The fans are not at all happy at the way the fans are being ignored by the party in favour of defectors from other parties. A fan from Anantapur, Bhaskar, tired to immolate himself out of frustration at not being given due recognition in the party. Bhaskar alleged that the PRP is giving importance to only the rich and the powerful.

It is only money that is getting recognition in the PRP and not the selfless sacrifice of fans. Bhasakar sustained severe burn injuries and he is now undergoing treatment at the hospital in Anantapur.
