Union minister Dasari is known for saying one thing and doing something else. He also gets emotional and many times ends up making comments that are somewhat controversial and uncalled for.

Dasari is known to have assiduously wooed Chiranjeevi to enter politics. But Chiranjeevi resisted the pressure form Dasari all theses days.

Now Dasari has changed camps literally. With the possibility of Chiranjeevi forming his own political party gaining currency, Dasari has changed tracks.

At the audio release function of Okkamogadu, Dasari termed Balaiah as the true successor of late N T Rama Rao. And he made a speech to the effect that Balaiah would be the next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. Where does that leave megastar Chiranjeevi now?

Andhra Bank has introduced a new scheme in Guntur, A.B. Super, under which fixed deposit for a period of 650 days would be offered an interest rate of 10.25 per cent, while the interest rate for senior citizens is 10.75 per cent. For deposits of Rs.15 lakhs and above, an additional 0.25 per cent of interest would be paid, according to a press release from Andhra Bank Deputy General Manager M. Somanadham.

Politics requires a lot of indepth knowledge on various issues concerning the public and one has to make a deep study on each issue, but Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi has no patience to learn about any issue.

According to sources close to Chiranjeevi, he makes enquiries about the contemporary issues, but if he is provided with literature and press clippings on the subject, he is interested in reading them.
